Licensed Clinician (SESH Program)

Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 11 states.
We are now hiring a Part-Time Licensed Clinician in Rutherford, TN. The Licensed Clinician (SESH) designs and leads therapeutic programing for adults with IDD and co-occurring mental and behavioral health conditions within its Specialized Enhanced Supported Housing (SESH) program. SESH homes are a short-term, therapeutic residential placement for individuals who require specialized treatment within a highly structured, safe, and secure setting. The Licensed Clinician utilizes evidence-based treatment programs (e.g., CBT, DBT) to develop clinical programming that promotes independence, recovery, and behavioral stability, allowing individuals to successfully transition to lower levels of care.
Starting pay is $40.00 - $55.00/ per hour (Commensurate with experience)
Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead mental health clinician for Community Options' Specialized Enhanced Supported Housing program
- Review referrals and assist with the admissions process
- Complete and submit initial and concurrent authorization requests in accordance with the level of care guidelines
- Complete initial biopsychosocial assessments and individualized plans of care within 30 days of admission
- Develop discharge plans that align with the principles of resiliency and transitional skills within thirty (30) days of admission
- Provide clinical supervision and support within the group home ensuring all staff are trained and consistently implementing each individual's treatment plan
- Collaborate with outside medical and psychiatric providers
- Employee must cooperate with the license and department staff in any inspection, inquiry, or investigation
Minimum Requirements
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field and a license to
practice independently in TN, including LCSW, LMFT, LPC-MHSP - Demonstrated ability to conduct diagnostic assessments, establish treatment plans, and
provide individual and group therapy - Minimum of two years’ experience working with people who have IDD and mental health
and/or challenging behavioral needs - Ability to collect, interpret, and graph data
- Ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background,
central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing
Working Conditions
- Required to share on-call coverage responsibilities with other clinicians to ensure around-theclock crisis response
- Work will take place in SESH homes, the office, and in the community
- Travel between work locations throughout your assigned region
